LeslieAnne Wade founded Wade Media Management, in December 2010. 

Earning a reputation as strong and trusted advisor to professional athletes, professional broadcasters and executives across the sports industries, Wade is one of the most well known experts in sports public relations and communications.

She served 17 years as the top PR executive at CBS Sports.

As the Senior Vice President, Communications, she earned the highest ranking ever held by a woman in the Network’s sports division.  A member of the senior management team, Wade  was responsible for the total media relations effort including corporate communications and promotions of all CBS Sports businesses, personalities and programming.  

In addition to promoting the CBS Sports property, Wade directed media relations for CBSSports.com, CBS College Sports and CSTV.com.   She worked closely with Showtime Sports on sports series and specials including leading the publicity for cable’s longest running series; Inside the NFL.   

Her experience with event promotion includes the awareness campaigns promoting broadcast coverage of the Olympic Winter Games, The National Football League, The Super Bowl, the PGA Tour, PGA Championship, The Masters, The U.S. Open Tennis Championships, The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and College Football’s Bowl Championship Series and numerous other sports and specials.

She served as a consultant to CBS News launching the public relations campaign surrounding the critically acclaimed series, “Before Your Eyes.”

Wade joined CBS after a five -year stint as Manager, Press Relations at USA Networks.   There she was responsible for the total publicity effort surrounding sports programming and original entertainment series.  In addition, she directed the campaign that launched USA Networks’ Sci-Fi Channel in 1992.

She began her career as Assistant Director of Sports Information at Fordham University and Director of Sports Information at Manhattan College.  During that time, she was actively involved with the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), serving as a National Coordinator of the Academic All-America program.  In her first year in the business, she was honored with a CoSIDA writing award.  Wade is a media advisor and former longtime board member of the Boomer Esiason Foundation,; a foundation working to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.  She served the development advisory board at her alma mater, Bayley Ellard Catholic High School in Madison, New Jersey and in 1999 was the youngest alumnus inducted into that school’s Hall of Fame.

She was recognized in 2008 as the Garden State Woman of the Year. In addition, Wade was named a Quiet Giant by the Boomer Esiason Foundation (2005). She has been honored as the Woman of the Year by Women In Sports and Events (2003) and has been recognized as the Sports Television Executive of the Year by the All America Football Foundation (2004).

She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana (B.A., English Writing and Communications).
